Focus, Focus

Sid's teacher says that he's going to be a genius who doesn't write. lol. She's trying to get him to focus and finish what he starts (uh oh). Last week she had to "drape him up" by telling him that he couldn't go outside to play until he wrote the date in his writing book. Of course, she said, when he did write it it was his best work so far! A friend of mine who is also a teacher gave me some worksheets for Sid to practice writing(? - I haven't even looked at them yet). What I need for Sid is an area that he can sit and work without distractions. Right now he works at the dinner table and his seat faces the television. Granted, we rarely watch anything in the evenings besides the news (and we used to watch A.N.T.M.) but surprisingly he gets distracted by that.
