Sid In His First Suit

Should I Tell This Story?

I told Sidney to take off his diaper so I could bathe him. He was good and he did. He stuck his two thumbs at the back of his diaper and pushed down. Of course, there was some 'stuff' in his diaper. I told him not to move so I could run for the wipes since there was some 'stuff' still in his butt. When I came back into the bathroom with the wipes, not even one minute later mind you, he was moving around. What do you think happened? Do you think he could have stood still for that ONE minute?? Do you? Noo, of course not. Before I knew it there was 'stuff' on the floor, under his foot, being traipsed around. Oh, I was so disgusted. Yes, I was cranky. I still AM cranky. Ugh!

S-I-D-N-Y

Sidney is quite the spelling bee. He shocked me in the car on Saturday when his sister told him to spell his name and he did! Ok, he forgot the 'e' but I was amazed nonetheless. I'll try to get him to spell it with audioblogger listening so I can post it.

Here it is....

If you listen carefully, you'll hear that he corrects himself by adding 'ey'.

This Boy

...gets sick way too often. Yesterday we were out late (yes, looking for my suit). Poor baby was tired and sick and cranky. He must have sneezed ten times in the space of 3.5 hrs. I don't mean a regular dry sneeze. I'm talking about goop hanging down past his lips kind of sneeze. So gross. The point is, he was up at 3:30 AM with a fever and asking for water. Of course, I obliged in getting him the water. The rest of the night he spent between me and my husband. You know what that meant. We were invaded by the perpendicular sleeping child who has no remorse in throwing his legs over my head.
