Cute Things He Says
Sid is a really good talker for his age. He's a parrot. Just about everything thing he hears, words or sounds, he can imitate it. He's been singing himself to sleep since he was 1. Every child has something that he excels at, and for Sidney, talking is one of those things. I promise to get him up on the audioblogger so you can hear what I'm talking about instead of just trying to imagine.
In the meantime, here are some of the cute things he says:
cookie fire = firecracker
water lemon = watermelon
das you get = that's what you get
daby bread = daily bread
Yeah, he still has some trouble with his l's, but he's gotten so much better.
He started preschool today. My mother bought him a Nemo bookbag that's got to be over half his height. K packed him up this morning and put the bookbag on his back. Poor baby stumbled backwards with the weight. I'm laughing just thinking about it. That poor kid. The problem was not the diapers in the bag, but the thermos filled with porridge! What was K thinking!!
Sidney is such an angel. He has his moments. He doesn't really have tantrums. His listens to his father (much more readily than when I talk to him). He eats like a teenager (which I'm not complaining about - I would much prefer healthy eater than a finicky eater).
More later....
