"N-O"
It's amazing how two letters put together can so easily frustrate. Sidney has now learned to say the word 'no'. It's funny though because he says it all the time, even when he really means 'yes'. I don't get too frustrated yet since I know he doesn't understand the concept fully. I just have to laugh as he shakes his head and proceeds to eat his food anyway.

when they start grasping language is one of the best times. like you say, it can be very funny. i experienced something similar with Tennise, when she was a year or two. every time she came in my room, i was running after her, saying 'don't touch, don't touch' (i.e. my pc, sewing machine, etc.) and wagging my finger at her. she picked up on that-thinking it was a joke, and every time i would start to say don't touch, she'd say it to me and wag her little finger at me!
hey, your time thingy is off. i was gonna ask if you were really up at 4am, posting. i would think that is a prime sleeping time for a parent!
